Chicago-based indie rock sextet Ax and the Hatchetmen unveil their latest track ‘Where tf Did I Park My Car?’ via Arista Records.
Produced by Jake Sinclair (known for his work with Weezer, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Taylor Swift), Ax and the Hatchetmen release their second single of 2024, ‘Where tf Did I Park My Car?’ The raw and energetic anthem captures the essence of urban chaos and the humorous trials of city life. Inspired by the band’s own experiences of losing their cars in downtown Chicago, the track is a testament to resilience and a celebration of life’s absurdities.
Axel Ellis reflects on the song’s origin, stating:
“We kept losing our cars in downtown Chicago for various reasons… At some point, we realized there was a common thread to our car trouble experiences: over-excitedly rushing to get to a date, overlooking the meter or the block we’d parked on.”
‘Where tf Did I Park My Car?’ is out now.
