Acclaimed IDM duo Autechre have announced their first North American tour dates in a decade.
After kicking off on October 1st in Denver, Autechre will go on to hit cities like Vancouver, Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago, Toronto, and New York, among others. According to the press release, the performances may be incorporated into AE 2022–, the act’s ongoing project of new music. Get tickets here.
Update: Autechre have added new shows in New Orleans (10/15), Louisville (10/18), and Washington, DC (10/29), and announced second performances in Seattle (10/6), Los Angeles (10/10), and New York (10/25). They have also upgraded their Denver, Chicago, and Boston concerts to larger venues. Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday, March 28th via Ticketmaster and Autechre’s website.
Autechre’s most recent release is the aforementioned AE 2022–, a series of extended compositions performed and recorded in front of live audiences between 2022 and 2024.
