Brighton-based genre-blenders AtticOmatic have shared ‘Two Alarms,’ the second teaser from their upcoming debut EP Fold The World, arriving May 9th.

Built on a delicate fusion of indie-rock, mellow electronica, and drifting neo-jazz textures, ‘Two Alarms’ continues the band’s genre-defying streak. The track gently unpacks a moment of dreamlike nostalgia and emotional contrast, reflecting on the fading innocence of childhood.

Offering more on the track, Kamran Kaur from the band says:

“One morning before work I was dreaming that I was a toddler stumbling around the house to find my mum and dad. When mine and Lorcan’s alarms went off at the same time, I felt sad for our younger selves who had such big ideas for what our lives would be. I guess the song is about slipping in and out of that dream world and the waking world.”

‘Two Alarms’ is out now. Their upcoming EP, Fold The World, arrives May 9th.
