Norwegian/Scottish duo amilost return with their emotionally charged single ‘Tiny War,’ out now via Icons Creating Evil Art.
Out now, ‘Tiny War’ showcases amilost’s signature Scandi-pop sound, with its delicate piano, ethereal strings, and wistful synths creating a deeply atmospheric experience. Written on the day vocalist Sigrid Zeiner ended a romantic relationship, the song captures the raw emotions of heartache and self-reflection. The layers of sound swirl like a cold breeze, building towards a powerful crescendo as Zeiner poignantly sings, “I don’t know how to love you anymore.”
Reflecting on the song’s nature, Sigrid shared:
“‘Tiny War’ is about the end of a relationship. It’s about trying everything to make it work, including changing yourself so much that you almost don’t recognise who you are any more. In the end, you realise that you have to let it go.”
