Norwegian-Scottish duo amilost returns with their latest single, ‘Haunted,’ out via Icons Creating Evil Art.

‘Haunted’ follows recent releases ‘Tiny War‘ and ‘Bloom‘ but ventures deeper into a dynamic pop landscape. Opening with Sigrid Zeiner’s tender vocal line, the track builds into a gripping chorus that echoes elements of The Weeknd’s moody style. Synth-heavy and emotionally charged, ‘Haunted’ portrays the blurred line between intense affection and obsession. The sonic intensity perfectly mirrors Zeiner’s reflections on love, as she sings about the inescapable hold a person can have over you, often without realizing it.

Explaining the meaning behind ‘Haunted,’ the duo shares:

“‘Haunted’ is about that person you can’t quite shake out of your head. It’s about feeling like you had control over the situation, but realising you were in deeper than you thought and that in fact – the other person has a hold on you instead.”

‘Haunted’ is out now.
