Amanda Tenfjord pays tribute to her Greek roots with her latest single, ‘AMAN.’
Amanda Tenfjord and Evangelia have released a stunning multi-language track, ‘AMAN.’ The track was created in a writing session with Thea Wang and Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter at Ocean Sound. Realizing something was missing, Tenfjord reached out to Evangelia spontaneously via DM to ask if she would like to collab on the track.
Tenfjord recalls how the collab came to be:
“At the end of the day of writing, we had a demo and a vibe we really liked. But some weeks passed and we all felt something was missing. At that time I was spending a lot of time in Athens and I was playing with the thought of having a Greek verse to make the song more special. I had followed Evangelia on Instagram for a while and spontaneously sent her a DM asking if she wanted to collab on a song that I was planning for my album.”
Amanda went on to say:
“AMAN is about trying to convince the one you really like to go for it,” Amanda explains. “‘AMAN den boro’ – come on, I can’t take it anymore. Say you want my love. We also have some bouzouki in there, which honestly is one of the coolest instruments I know.”
‘AMAN’ is out on all streaming services.
