There’s so much good music out in the ether that sometimes it’s difficult to parse through all of it. Every week The Daily Music Report will do the hard work for you and highlight the best releases available on streaming services.
This week we’re highlighting new music from Burial, Arctic Monkeys, and Dry Cleaning.
Burial – Streetlands EP
It’s not often we elevate an EP and highlight it here on ‘3 Albums…’. But it’s also not often we get a release from the reclusive South London musician Burial. The surprise EP features three songs: ‘Hospital Chapel,’ ‘Exokind,’ and the title track ‘Streetlands.’ Released via longtime label Hyperdub, the 34-minute EP crisscrosses an expansive universe in which you’re likely to lose yourself.
