After four years out of the spotlight, The Technicolors make a roaring return with their new single, ‘Posh Spice.’

Marking their first release since 2021, ‘Posh Spice’ is a fuzzed-out, swaggering track that pays tribute to the elegant edge of Victoria Beckham while dragging listeners through the sonic mud. Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Robert Adam Stevenson (Queens of the Stone Age, The Kills) and featuring BRONCHO’s Nathan Price on drums, the single kicks off a new era for the band — one forged in grit, glam, and renewed creative focus.

The track began as a riff guitarist Sean Silverman had been workshopping in the studio. It evolved organically, capturing the band’s signature blend of gritty tones and melodic hooks.

Frontman Brennan Smiley shares:

“Lyrics almost always come last for us, and from the beginning, we loved the working title ‘Posh Spice’ because it set us down a path reaching for some kind of fun juxtaposition between themes of grit and toughness against the greasy sound of the band trudging through the mud the whole time.”

The official video, directed by Jarod Evans, features Smiley as a snake oil salesman, luring viewers into a mysterious, spice-fueled cult of personality. With clues about the band’s larger upcoming project sprinkled throughout, fans are encouraged to dial 555-ZEST for a glimpse into the world The Technicolors are building.

The single sets the stage for their forthcoming fourth studio album, due out this August via TikTok’s SoundOn.
