THE rap queens are facing off tonight at the BET Awards for Best Female Hip Hop Artist.
Cardi B is nominated against Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Glorilla, Ice Spice, Latto, and Sexyy Red.
Cardi is booked and busy this weekend as she headlined the BET Experience Concert Series on Friday night in Los Angeles, California.
Sexyy Red and Gunna also performed sets at the festival and are nominated for awards tonight.
Other notable nominees include Usher, Tyla, Victoria Monet, Drake, Beyonce, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Halle Bailey, SZA, Ayo Edebiri, Angel Reese, and Patrick Mahomes.
Taraji P. Henson is back to host the event for the third time.
The BET Awards red carpet event airs at 6 pm EST before the broadcast begins at 8 pm on BET. Comedy Central, MTV, Nick, Pop TV, TV Land, and VH1 also air the ceremony. Those who don’t have cable can watch the show on Direct TV, Sling, Hulu Live, Fubo TV, and Philo.

Terrence announced the winners for Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year during the BET Awards pre-show.
WNBA player Angel Reese took home the victory for Best Sportswoman and New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson won Best Sportsman.

Mariah the Scientist joined Tee Grizzley to sing their new hit song, IDGAF, which also features Chris Brown.
Mariah is signed to RCA Records and is an R&B artist. Tee Grizzley is a rapper known for hits Freak, One of One, and Suffer in Silence.

Remy Ma attends awards after son’s arrest
Remy Ma has arrived at the BET Awards after her son’s murder arrest earlier this month.
Her son, Jayson Scott was arrested on June 17 alongside Richard Swygert for the 2021 murder of Darius Guillebeaux.
Scott and Swygert were each charged with first-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.
“We stand by JaySon’s innocence and pray that the NYPD will conduct a complete and thorough investigation to reveal the truth,” Remy Ma said about her son, according to TMZ.
