A FASHION influencer has wowed people after ditching her ”vulgar” style and embracing a more ”classy” wardrobe.
Those who follow style guru Antonia Higham recognise her from the fashionista’s effortlessly chic appearance – but although she’s now oozing elegance, this hasn’t always been the case.

Before her epic glow-down – a term used to describe enhancing natural beauty – the red-head stunner looked nothing like what she does now, a video on TikTok revealed.
Years ago, you’d catch the UK-based fashionista following the latest high-street trends, such as teeny latex dresses with a busty display and a bronzed complexion covered in fake tan.
Oftentimes, the ”trashy” garments also had a high slit to show off her toned legs in shiny heels, and Antonia also seemed to love heavy make-up.
Styling her long locks in waves, the young stunner would cover her face in cakey make-up, piles of contour and bronzer for a snatched appearance, thick brows, a dark eye make-up look, as well as a glossy pout.
Other favourites in her wardrobe, she showed in the clip, included figure-hugging neon dresses with thin spaghetti straps and a sparkly two-piece set with high-shorts and gladiator-style strappy heels.
According to the young woman, who now described her old style as ”vulgar”, she was simply following the trends that were all the rage at the time.
Until Antonia found her true and authentic style and ”became the sophisticated woman he could never have”.
The fashion guru, whose profile, @antoniahigham, has won her close to 480k followers, ditched gem-covered bras, massive hoop earrings bedazzled with diamantes and totally revamped her appearance.
While her younger self would blindly follow the latest crazes, Antonia is now all about the so-called ”old money” glam, where quality is valued higher than quantity.
The influencer still wears dresses – but these boast a more elegant feel to them, with added pearl accessories full-length gowns.
Her beauty routine, too, has seen a major transformation – and long gone are the days of blinding highlighter and intense contour.
Divorced from her old ”tacky” ways, as well as the heavy eyelashes, Antonia looks totally unrecognisable – and even social media users are amazed by the stark difference.
Thousands flocked to comments to share their thoughts on her ”level-up journey”, which has gone viral on the platform.
One fan of the epic makeover said: ”You look so classy now, and yes that is levelling up.”
How to look chic on a budget
Fashion stylist Gemma Rose Breger, and beauty journalist Samantha Silver revealed how you can make your outfits elevated without spending hundreds of pounds.
- Don’t ever spend on designer denim: River Island ”always has such a great selection of fashion-forward jeans that follow the current trends”. The high street retailer offers a great range of sizes to fit UK 6 – UK 18, and three leg lengths – and prices start from an affordable £25.
- There are no rules for jewels: ”Pick up something at a car boot sale, or charity shop, scroll on Vinted & eBay, snap up something from the clothing section in your local supermarket when doing the food shop or check out high street clothing stores.”
- Don’t forget the pre-loved sites: With a rising number of second-hand sites, such as Vinted and Depop, there’s no excuse for not buying – or selling – pre-loved garments. Gemma, for instance, has managed to get her hands on chic Chanel sunnies for a mere £17.
