The Farm is back with ‘That Feeling,’ a driving new single taken from Let The Music (Take Control)—their first album in over 30 years—set for release on June 20, 2025, via Modern Sky.

Out now, ‘That Feeling’ marks only the third preview of the upcoming album and finds the re-energized Liverpool indie-dance pioneers blending their trademark groove with funk influences and pointed social commentary. Inspired in part by guitarist Keith Mullin’s encounter with Nile Rodgers and frontman Peter Hooton’s reflections on misinformation in modern society, the track marries catchy choruses with deeper meaning.

Hooton says:

“The idea behind this song is trying to get into the heart and mind of someone who things they are the future of the world. People are more easily duped by false narratives in this day and age, falling into the obvious traps. We need to better understand each other to work out why.”

‘That Feeling’ follows the singles ‘Forever And Ever’ and ‘Moment In Time,’ all leading up to Let The Music (Take Control)—produced by Mike Cave in Liverpool and available in limited and standard edition vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
