STRANGER Things star Millie Bobby Brown hopes to play singer Britney Spears in an upcoming film.
It was confirmed last year that a biopic based on the Baby One More Time singer’s memoir will go ahead.

British Millie recently dyed her hair blonde like the superstar, and fans are convinced the makeover means she will be chosen to play 43-year-old Britney on screen.
At the LA premiere of her new movie earlier this week, 21-year-old Millie told TV show Access Hollywood: “I mean, you know, she’s an absolute icon.
“I’d love nothing more than to be a part of her story.
“But that’s her story, and I’m in full support of her bringing her story to life . . . how she wants to.

“I’d want someone to bring it to life in the most beautiful way, and I’d always be open to that.”
Millie plays telepathic teenager Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things, with the fifth and final series of the sci-fi hit due out later this year.
Millie previously said filming “preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about”.
In 2022 Britney, who has had hits with Toxic and Oops! . . . I Did it Again, slammed talk of a film about her life.
She put on Instagram: “I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life . . . dude, I’m not dead!!!”
But the film based on Britney’s 2023 memoir The Woman in Me is to go ahead with Wicked director Jon M. Chu.
He said last month: “I haven’t really started anything fully yet, but she (Britney) will be very involved in this.
“I’ve seen fan castings, and I always take those into consideration because maybe there’s a good idea out there.
“But we’ll have to see what the approach of the movie is before we know who’s right for it.”
Millie, married to rocker Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake, 22, is one of Hollywood’s highest-earning young stars.
She is worth an estimated £22million thanks to her roles and cosmetics and fashion line Florence by Mills.
