Myles Kennedy’s New Album, Tour, and Single “Say What You Will”

Myles Kennedy has announced a new solo album, The Art of Letting Go, arriving October 11th. The singer-guitarist — best known as the lead vocalist in both Alter Bridge and Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators — also offered up the video for the lead single “Say What You Will.”

The track is a driving hard rocker that verges on glam metal, with a lowdown groove riff and a gritty vocal from Kennedy. He and his bandmates (Zia Uddin on drums and Tim Tournier on bass) also appear in the School of Rock-style video clip, playing the role of middle-school faculty members who encourage a timid student to perform a rock set at the talent show.

Kennedy appears to be ramping up his solo activity now that his bandmates in Alter Bridge are busy with the current Creed reunion. The singer is set to support The Art of Letting Go with an extensive UK/European tour to close out 2024, and a leg of North American dates in 2025.

The stateside run kicks off on January 17th in Joliet, Illinois, and wraps up February 21st in Spokane, Washington. The route hits major markets such as Dallas and Los Angeles, and Tim Montana will support all dates.

An artist pre-sale for the North American shows begins today (June 11th) at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT using the code KENNEDY via Ticketmaster, with a Live Nation pre-sale starting Thursday (June 13th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code CHORD. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
