Lily exercises a lot so she has to fuel up with healthy food. “I scramble a couple of eggs, and sometimes I might add a little bit of avocado on the side,” she told Stylecaster about her breakfast, also detailing the rest of her food diary. “I ordered a salad for lunch today from Sweetgreen. I ordered the Spicy Sabzi (380 calories), which is a little bit spicy and I think there’s tofu and chili, beets, carrot, broccoli, quinoa, and greens—it’s delicious,” she continued. Her dinner? “Simple fish with lots of roasted vegetables.” Another favorite meal? Gwyneth Paltrow’s “clean” roast chicken.
Lily also gets lots of nutrients via her beverages. “I love just a simple green juice with ginger and lots of healthy vegetables,” she told Stylecaster. As for her go-to smoothie? “Protein powder, almond milk, blueberries, and then different kinds of powders like spirulina and other green powders to get it all in there.”
You won’t find Lily getting her sweat on in a gym. “I can’t go to the gym, I’m not that person,” she confessed to Vogue Australia. “If someone’s not telling me what to do, I’ll take five steps and be like, ‘That was really good!’ But if someone’s there with me, I’ll work my butt off!”
Lily revealed to Stylecaster that Ballet Beautiful is her go-to workout. “I do [it] three to six times every week depending on the time of year,” she said. She added to Vogue it has made her “leaner, stronger and healthier.” She also works out right after waking up. “I always try to work out in the morning if I can. It gets my endorphins going,” she says.
Aldridge gets workout inspiration from her husband, Kings of Leon rocker Caleb Followill, and model best friends. “I’m not a jogger but Caleb is. He gets in the zone, but I’m like, ‘Where is this zone?’ I need to find this zone!” she told Vogue. “Karlie posted on Instagram that she hates jogging but was going to do a marathon. I figure if she can run, I can, too.”
