KISS Officially Confirm First Performance Since Retiring from Touring

It’s official: KISS are performing in Las Vegas in November as part of the KISS Army 50th anniversary celebration.

The initial news was recently revealed in an email that went out to fan club members, but now a press release has confirmed that Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will perform “unmasked” and without their makeup, marking their first show since the band retired from touring in 2023. The performance will headline the three-day “KISS Army Storms Vegas” experience, set to take place at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from November 14th through the 16th.

Regarding the show, Stanley and Simmons will be joined by “special guests” for the fully electric performance, while former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick will perform his own separate set, along with sets by KISS tribute bands.

Other announced events include Q&A sessions with band members, as well as a panel with longtime manager Doc McGhee. The fans themselves were asked for their help in shaping the weekend, with select members of the KISS Army being invited to a panel discussion on March 8th to provide feedback and ideas to be incorporated in the weekend’s festivities. A full schedule of activities will be revealed soon, per the press release.

Experience packages for the weekend start at $999. A KISS Army VIP Fan Club pre-sale begins Friday (March 28th) at 7 a.m. PT, with a KISS Army & Fan pre-sale beginning April 2nd at 7 a.m. PT. General public sales start April 7th at 7 a.m. PT. Find more details via KISS’ website.

Meanwhile, Simmons recently postponed 17 shows on his upcoming spring US tour with his solo band. No reason was given for the postponements, though a spokesman for the rocker said they were not health-related.
