Wow! Gojira just delivered one of the most epic performances ever during the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris on Friday (July 26th).
The members of the French metal band stood on platforms outside of the windows of a castle, as they performed in the rain. They were soon joined by opera singer Marina Viotti, who floated down the River Seine.
The performance featured a headless Marie Antoinette, massive pyro, bright red streamers, and more sensational sites for the eyes as Gojira brought the metal in the most ferocious way.
Fans can catch Gojira stateside when they support Korn on the latter’s US headlining tour this fall (get tickets here).
