Lady Gaga shifts gears with ESPN, with songs from her upcoming album MAYHEM featured throughout the entire Formula 1 season.

ESPN has launched its first 2025 Formula 1 (F1) season promo campaign featuring Lady Gaga’s track “Garden of Eden” from her forthcoming album, MAYHEM, out on March 7. Songs from the highly anticipated album will be featured throughout the F1 season.

The new promo trailer features a video montage of F1’s top drivers as cars speed down the track. “Introducing @espnf1’s anthem for the 2025 season, ‘Garden of Eden,’ by the one and only Lady Gaga,” the network wrote on Instagram.

The trailer is just the latest taste of MAYHEM, preceded by its singles “Die With a Smile,” “Disease,” and “Abracadabra.” “Die With a Smile,” her duet with Bruno Mars, spent five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

According to Gaga herself, the album is “properly pop,” but “leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt.” That said, the artist promises the album serves as a homecoming for fans who miss her early pop sound.

Ahead of Gaga’s return to her pop roots, fans will get their first listen when the campaign kicks off this week before the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix on Saturday, March 15. The race will be televised on ESPN beginning at 11:55 AM ET.

All F1 races during the 2025 season will again be carried live in the US on ESPN, ESPN2, or ABC, will all practice and qualifying sessions also aired along with all F1 Sprint events. Selected races will stream on ESPN+, which will also feature two alternate streams for all races.

The F1 partnership comes on the heels of Gaga’s announcement of a concert in Mexico City in April. That show comes a few days ahead of a beachside blowout in Rio de Janeiro. The star will be headlining Coachella as well, also in April.
