Kendrick Lamar’s joint “Grand National Tour” with SZA stopped at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Thursday, June 12th, marking the LA rapper’s first concert in Drake’s hometown since their high-profile beef last year.
After performing “euphoria” early on in the show, Kendrick saved his lawsuit-provoking diss track “Not Like Us” for near the end. The appreciative crowd responded to the highly anticipated performance by dancing and singing along, but apparently, once wasn’t enough. According to Canada’s Global News, they gave him a two-minute standing ovation and chanted for an encore, a request which Kendrick (unfortunately) didn’t oblige.
