Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has unearthed a cover of The Beach Boys’ classic “I Get Around” to honor the late Brian Wilson. Stream it below.
“Thank you Brian Wilson,” Armstrong wrote in the Instagram post where he shared the audio. “I recorded a cover of ‘I Get Around’ a few years ago… never got to share it. One of my all time favorite songs ever.”
Armstrong joins surviving Beach Boys Mike Love and Al Jardine, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Sting in paying tribute to Wilson since his passing. Check out more tributes to Wilson here.
