Adele went off on at an audience member who hurled a slur as she marked the beginning of Pride Month by dedicating a portion of her concert to members of the LGBTQ+ community during her residency concert at Las Vegas’ Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Saturday night.
After an unknown member of the audience shouted, “Pride sucks!”, Adele responded in kind: “What was that? Did you just say Pride sucks? Did you come to my fucking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you fucking stupid? Don’t be so fucking ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?” Watch fan-captured footage of the moment below.
Adele is amidst the final stretch of her expansive year-long “Weekends With Adele” residency at the Colosseum: she’ll play a few more shows at this month, and then return in October for one late round of dates. In August, she’ll play a number of shows in Munich, Germany. Tickets are available here.
