A BELOVED Oscar-winning actress was spotted looking unrecognisable while walking her dog on Wednesday.
The star, best known for her roles in some of the biggest films of the 90s, looked relaxed near her LA home.
Sally Field, 77, was seen wearing a comfortable pair of cargo trousers and a baggy blue shirt – worlds away from her usual red carpet glamour.
Keeping herself protected from the heat in a large blue hat, Sally kept her cockapoo on a leash as they went for a stroll.
Sally kept things cosy by completing her look in a pair of white plimsoll pumps.
The actress has been in dozens of era-defining films – from 1977’s Smokey and The Bandit alongside Burt Reynolds, through to playing Aunt May in The Amazing Spiderman in 2012 with Andrew Garfield.
But one of the standouts is Mrs Doubtfire, where she played Robin Williams’ estranged wife and mother to his three children.
In the film, as the pair navigate their divorce, Miranda (Field) moves on from Daniel (Williams) with the hunky Stuart (Pierce Brosnan).
Desperate for more time with his family, Daniel dons prosthetics and make-up to become their Scottish nanny, Mrs Doubtfire.
Sally is a double Oscar-winner, having been nominated three times.
Her first win was in 1980’s Norma Rae, where she won actress in a leading role.
Her second followed five years later in the same category with 1985’s Places In The Heart.
Her third nomination, which she did not win, was for playing Mary Todd Lincoln in Lincoln in 2013.
Sally also starred in Forrest Gump, playing Tom Hanks’ elderly and beloved Mama, who does whatever it takes to make her son feel loved and get ahead in life.
In more recent years, Sally continues to act, though has spent more time in comedic roles like 80 For Brady alongside Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Lily Tomlin.
She also broke hearts in Sky’s Spoiler Alert, which starred Jim Parsons and Ben Aldridge as a gay couple whose relationship hits a difficult spot when one of them falls sick.
Sally is next is slated to appear in Remarkably Bright Creatures, a Netflix film based on the novel by Shelby Van Pelt.
She is reported to be leading the cast as Tova Sullivan, a woman who works as a cleaning lady in an aquarium after the death of her husband, and is still distraught over the mysterious loss of her son when he was just 18.
It’s not yet been confirmed when the film will be released.
