I’m normally not the kind of person who gets overly invested in the romantic lives of celebrities, but like many people, I’ve found it very hard to ignore the veritable relationship heater Pete Davidson has been on since making a name for himself on Saturday Night Live.
Davidson—who has an aesthetic best described as “Scumbag Chic”—kicked things off by dating Larry David’s daughter before moving onto a high-profile relationship with Ariana Grande that led to an engagement that was ultimately called off.
However, it didn’t take him long to bounce back with the help of Kate Beckinsale, which was followed up by a couple of casual flings he engaged in before ascending to what may be his final form after getting into a serious relationship with Kim Kardashian that ended over the summer.
So what’s next for the SNL alum? There’s no way to know for sure—although he does have at least one fairly unexpected suitor in the form of…Martha Stewart?
Martha Stewart called Pete Davidson “cute” and admitted she’d be down to go on a date with him
Earlier this month, Martha Stewart blew plenty of minds by posting a thirst trap that proves she’s definitely still got it at the age of 81. The celebrity chef has been single for a while, but during a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she revealed she’d be down to give Davidson a chance if the situation ever presented itself.
Stewart said she knows Davison personally (they shared the stage at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber) and described him as “very cute” before saying “He’s a very good guy and he knows how to get in and get out” while describing his serial dating habits (although she seemed to know exactly what she was doing with that particular choice of words).
Kim Kardashian might’ve attempted to break the internet with her Paper magazine cover in 2014, but Stewart and Davidson might actually be able to achieve that if they ever ended up in a relationship —and we got a preview of what that might look like based on the reactions to her comments about the 28-year-old comedian.
It’s safe to say some people are not entirely on board with the idea.
However, others couldn’t help but respect her for shooting her shot.
As ill as I wish him, I do think Pete Davidson and Martha Stewart could make it work. BDE calls to BDE and don’t I know it!

It seems doubtful this will ever come to fruition, but if Davidson’s dating history has taught us anything, it’s to always expect the unexpected.
