DUGGAR fans have claimed that Joy-Anna’s home has a dangerous living room layout.
The hazardous configuration was spotted after the Counting On alum posted a photo of her husband Austin Forsyth, 30, playing with their five-year-old son Gideon.
Joy-Anna, 26, captioned the Instagram Story post, “morning schananigans.”
The snapshot captured her husband playfully tossing Gideon in the air while seated in a recliner.
The chair was positioned in front of the living room window and the backrest of the recliner, along with a full-body mirror and an upright piano, appeared to be blocking a door.
A 19 Kids and Counting fan took a screengrab of the InstaStory post and posted it to Reddit.

Though the fan created the social media post to poke fun at Joy-Anna’s spelling of the word “shenanigans,” most of the commenters were focused on the strange layout of the living room.
One person questioned, “What is going on with the layout!?”
They continued, “The lone chair right next to the window, blocking the door? The mirror and piano also blocking the door?!
The Redditor concluded, “I’m so confused.”

“Thats their side door,” responded another before adding, “They always block it.”
A third fan commented, “It is possible the chair is actually more forward than we can tell from the angle of the picture….the piano looks a little close like MAYBE the door would barely make it all the way open but why is the mirror there??”
A fourth person remarked, “I’ve always found the layout of their great room weird and like it shouldn’t even have a door there. I guess they agree lol”
Elsewhere in the comment thread, one person asked, “Why is the area rug flush to the wall?”
“Haha! I didn’t notice that! The coffee table also seems to be in an odd spot,” added another.
A third person stated, “Agreed the layout of their main room has always been odd.”
POST-BABY BODY
Last week, Joy-Anna showed off her enviable figure in a new video from a shopping trip.
In the post, Joy-Anna proudly filmed herself in a dressing room mirror as she tried on clothes.
The TLC star had her shoulder-length hair down and showed off her glowing skin with minimal makeup.
Joy-Anna wore blue jeans that hugged her curves at her hips before flaring slightly at the calves.
She teamed the denim with a bright pink shirt, which she zoomed in on to show off a sweet design with tiny white and red hearts.
Just before posting her stunning dressing room video, Joy-Anna proved her rebel streak by reuniting with her older sister, Jinger Duggar, 30.
The sisters posted a snap from Jinger’s current home in Los Angeles, showing off their closeness despite Jinger’s snubbing by many other family members.
Many Duggars broke ties with Jinger following the release of her book Becoming Free Indeed back in 2023, which shone a light on her secretive church and family secrets.
A NEW PATH
Joy-Anna’s casual outfit completely flouts the strict lifestyle imposed by her dad Jim Bob Duggar, 58.
According to the Duggar family rules imposed by Jim Bob and her mom Michelle Duggar, 57, daughters of the family weren’t allowed to wear immodest clothes, including pants.
Some of the guidance went even further, suggesting that they shouldn’t have social media, consume modern entertainment, or even share front-facing hugs.
The parents based their rules on the Institute in Basic Life Principles organization.
However, some fans think that Joy-Anna has left her family’s religion due to clues in how she’s raising her own family.
MAMA BLUES
While Joy-Anna raises her family with more freedom than her own upbringing, fans have slammed some of her parenting choices.
The reality TV star and Austin welcomed a baby boy, Gunner, in May, joining older siblings Gideon and Evelyn, three.
However, a recent post showing off her “recommended baby products” shocked her social media followers.
In a pic, Gunner was shown resting on a baby lounger on his back, but fans were worried that he could be in danger if unattended.
On Reddit, one person raged, “Not necessary and not safe. Nobody is monitoring their baby every single minute while they’re asleep.
“People do use them for sleeping and babies have died.”
“What is this even for? It’s not considered safe for sleeping, and the baby would outgrow it fast,” slammed a second.
