JELLY Roll has decided to ditch social media after online trolls attacked his weight.
Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo, 44, opened up about her husband’s decision on her podcast Dumb Blonde.
She shared a clip of the episode on her TikTok, and the full episode will drop tomorrow, April 24.
In the video, Bunnie, real name Alyssa DeFord, wore her blonde hair up in a casual ponytail and a grey Chevy T-shirt.
She sat on a red velvet chair, and there was a bright neon sign that said “Dumb Blonde” behind her.
In the clip, she said, “My husband got off the internet because he is so tired of being bullied about his f**king weight.
“And like, that makes me want to cry because he is the sweetest angel baby.”
She went on to say, “My husband doesn’t show it to you guys, but I’m going to have a very vulnerable moment here – it hurts him.”
Bunnie added that the internet thinks they can say whatever they want about celebrities without affecting them emotionally.
She aggressively opposed this point of view and added, “You know how many people kill themselves from being bullied a year?
“Enough is enough. Don’t bully people because you never know where they are mentally.”
The podcaster continued, “There are a lot of people who are not as strong as me that are on the internet, and they don’t deserve to f**king be bullied.”
Bunnie announced that she would stand up for all the “underdogs” on the internet and she would not allow people to lie about her family.
The video was captioned, “It was pretty therapeutic not gonna lie. Drops Wednesday.”
TIME TO ROLL
In the comment section of the video, the country singer’s fans showed the performer a ton of support.
One said, “He is a sweet soul. He has gone through a lot of hurt to be able to love as hard as he does.”
“We love JELLY and we ROLL at dawn!!!!” added another.
A third wrote, “He has been an absolute inspiration to my 14-year-old son. My kiddo and I live in larger bodies and seeing Jelly accomplish all these amazing things and take up space that he deserves.”
“Whoever is being mean to him has demons deep inside. Cause I don’t even know him and he seems so sweet,” commented a fan.
A fifth said, “Nah, people need to stop bullying Jelly. That man is putting in the work to better himself and he is the kindest soul.”
Jelly Roll’s absence from social media comes after an impressive 70-pound weight loss before his Beautifully Broken Tour.
After sharing his new workout and diet routine, he revealed his weight loss while talking to People.
He also said he wants to lose another hundred pounds.
