DRY January might be in full swing but most people will still be having a cheeky tipple this month.
Whilst you might nip into the pub after work, one influencer has broken the internet after sharing her ‘casual’ drinks outfit.
Unlike the rest of us who spent December in our pjs, fashionista Lauren Candy was putting together her best looks.
Her outfits have been seen by over a million people on Tiktok, with many questioning how her stunning outfits could be classed as ‘casual’.
Even with stormy weather and grey skies looming, the content creator went with a thigh skimming short skirt with matching knee high leather boots and black handbag.
Whilst she looked amazing in her monochromatic outfit, we can’t help but wonder whether she got the cold shoulder with her bardot style jumper.
Though she later swapped her sweater for a brown long sleeved top and boots, Lauren still looked Pinterest worthy instead of ready for a cheeky pint.
Covering up didn’t make the content creator any less glam, with her simple up-do perfectly complimenting her black dress and chunky knit cardigan.
The follower of fashion also updated her look by adding large handbag and patent leather shoes in this season’s hottest color: cherry red.
Rather than layering up to stay warm, her final outfit showed the Tiktoker in a gorgeous backless grey top and coopery skirt – possibly better suited to summer.
Despite her looks being absolutely stunning, the influencer has raised more than a few eyebrows on the app.
In fact, many in the comments were questioning how her outfits were ‘casual’ or even wearable in winter.
One fan joked: “I’m starting to wonder if everyone else is experiencing the same winter as me.”
Another added: “If I wore that to my local pub I’d be the talk of the town for the next three years.”
“This definitely isn’t casual to me, but I am obsessed,” gushed a third.
However, many of her followers were eager to recreate her looks with some begging to know where she found specific pieces.
In fact, there was an entire thread just about the influencer’s black skirt, which featured a tiny thigh slit.
Some also questioned what others would wear to the pub or even class as ‘casual’ dress.
“Where I’m from, people would wear these outfits to a wedding,” said a fourth, to which the content creator cheekily responded: “…they wouldn’t be allowed in my wedding with these outfits.”
It seem the young influencer really doesn’t care what others think, cheekily writing in the caption: “Who wants to look simple when you can look stunning?”
Though we’d probably add a thick coat to keep the cold away, we can’t help but agree with her.
