GEORGE Stephanopoulos’ wife, Ali Wentworth, has delighted fans with intimate snapshots of the couple celebrating Christmas Eve at home.
The Good Morning America anchor – mysteriously absent all of last week – donned a scruffy beard as they adorned their Christmas tree.

Ali, 58, generously shared a series of heartwarming photos on her Instagram page this Sunday.
In one charming post, George, 62 sported a Howard Stern hoodie, a puffer coat, and a disheveled beard, all paired with a warm smile.
The caption playfully declared: “Always representing!!!”
George seemed to be growing out his facial hair while MIA from the morning show.
Another captured Ali sharing a tender moment with their dog in front of a crackling fireplace.
She humorously captioned the image: “It looks like love… But I have cheese in my mouth.”
A new addition to her posts, a new Instagram Story showcased Ali placing an angelic ornament on the Christmas tree.
One fan commented on the snap of a casual George: “Look at adorable George! I missed you on GMA this week!”

FANS CURIOUS ABOUT GEORGE
The photos come as the anchor missed GMA for a full week straight, concerning fans.
There was no explanation for why George had been out for so long.
It’s possible that George had taken some time off for the holidays.
Both he and wife Ali have been having difficulty adapting to becoming empty nesters since their daughters left home.
They announced both daughters Elliott and Harper will be returning for the holidays, however, they were not in her Sunday snaps..
Since George’s lengthy absence, fans have been asking where he’s been over the past week.
“When is George coming back??” one asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“George are u ok???” another took to Instagram to ask.
There’s been no update as of late as to when George will be returning to GMA.
It’s likely going to be after the holiday season or perhaps by New Year’s Day.
MUSICAL CHAIRS ON GMA
On Friday morning, George remained missing and Whit Johnson had come in to take his place instead.
Earlier this week on Tuesday, George was also missing and replaced by Whit.
The anchor and former White House Communications Director was also missing on Monday along with Michael Strahan.
Linsey Davis filled in for Michael on Monday while he was away.
However, Michael had already come back from his absence, while George still hasn’t.
BEACH BOY
Last week, George’s wife Ali shared an old photo of herself with George and her mother taking a stroll to her fans and followers.
“#TBT pregnant and with my husband and Mama,” Ali captioned the photo.
The 58-year-old was seen with her hair slicked back into a tight bun, heavily pregnant.
She wore a T-shirt that exposed a bit of her baby bump and elastic pants, likely seeking the most comfortable outfit possible.
Husband George was right at her side holding her hand and leaning in close.
His now salt-and-pepper hair was dark and bushy as he looked forward.
George had taken his shirt off at some point and was walking along wearing nothing but a pair of athletic shorts.
“I thought he was John Stamos at first glance,” one fan gushed.
To the left of the pair was Ali’s mother Mabel (Muffie) Wentworth Brandon Cabot.
The trio were walking along the beach near the ocean as the waves crashed along the shore.
George is the proud father of two daughters he shares with his wife of 22 years.
