This month marks 7 years since Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner passed away and his widow, Crystal Hefner, has moved on with a new man by the name of James Ward who runs a marine wildlife safari company out of Kona, Hawaii and spends his days diving with all types of sharks, whales, and pelagic fish. He also gets in some spearfishing when he has a chance.
In a recent feature from US Weekly, Crystal Hefner revealed she had moved on from her 5-year marriage to Hugh Hefner and is ‘happier than ever’ now. Shocker. I’m absolutely shocked. Dating an age appropriate guy who rides ATVs around the rainforest, goes spearfishing for trophy-sized cobia, and dives with sharks is better than being married to a 91-year-old! Who knew?!
Speaking with US Weekly, Crystal Hefner said her relationship with Hugh Hefner was “one-sided” because she’s “such a people pleaser” but that she’s in a good spot now. And honestly, I’m happy for her. I’m happy because it appears as if this total bro who is a marine biologist is living the life in Hawaii and she was able to find that life instead of being holed up in the Playboy Mansion.

It is curious that Crystal Hefner’s name is back in the news after all these years. She was a celebrity at one point, and she is Hugh Hefner’s widow, but will there be new career moves in the future? Is she going to wind up on a new reality TV show? Only time will tell but it is curious that she’s back in the news out of nowhere.
