Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes addressed relationship rumors on Instagram, asserting they are “still together” after a heated moment during their latest podcast episode.
Walking arm-in-arm in NYC, Holmes reassured viewers of their enduring romance while expressing relief for sharing their struggles on the podcast.
Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Are ‘Still Together’
Robach and her beau, Holmes, recently took to Instagram to dispel rumors about their relationship following an intense podcast episode.
During a casual stroll with Robach in New York City, Holmes reassured viewers, stating: “We just wanted to check in and let you know that, despite what you’ve been hearing, we are still together.”
He added: “We’re hearing from a lot of you all on our latest episode of the podcast. It was something we really struggled and debated about whether or not we should even put out there — but at this point, I’m glad we did.”
In agreement with Holmes, Robach added: “Yeah, I am too.” The mom of two explained: “Our larger goal in putting out our latest episode was to show that, yes, we like to show pictures of us smiling like everyone else and laughing on social media, but if we want to be real and we want to transparent we wanted to show all the sides of us and I would say most relationships.”
“So we hope that all of you get something out of it, and we hope you keep coming back,” she concluded.
Amy Robach Confronts T.J. Holmes On Being ‘Moody’
The Instagram post came after Robach and Holmes candidly addressed communication challenges in their relationship in a recent episode of their podcast, “Amy & T.J.”
Robach confronted Holmes for being “moody” and expressed a desire for him to open up and share his “really bad days.”
“I’d love for you to do is to confide in me, to lean on me, to share with me so that we’re a part of the solution together,” she said. They had previously acknowledged that this issue had sparked disagreements between them.
On his part, Holmes admitted to keeping his difficulties to himself, explaining that he prefers not to burden Robach during challenging moments.
“Because when things get that kind of bad, and I’m that kind of focused or that kind of quiet, the last thing in that moment I want to do is to tell you what I need. That is how I feel, and that is the truth. Not that I think it’s your responsibility. Well, you should just know,” he stated.

Robach and Holmes also opened up about the challenges they faced when their relationship became public, leading to their TV careers being “unfairly taken.”
The former anchorwoman became emotional, stating: “We’ve always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing … that pressure is a lot.”
She clarified that the pressure wasn’t about staying together but related to their professional setbacks, adding: “I don’t feel the pressure from the public to stay with you, but I feel the pressure of our careers that I believe were unfairly taken from us.”
Tearfully, Robach emphasized that she has “chosen” to love Holmes despite the difficulties, describing love as both a feeling and a conscious decision.
“I know that I know you well enough, and I’ve spent enough time with you, and I knew how I felt,” she explained. “And love sometimes is a choice, when it’s hard, it’s not just a feeling. Lust is a feeling, but love is a choice, I believe, and I have chosen to love you.”
The Couple Has Kids From Past Relationships
Holmes and Robach have been able to figure out how to navigate their relationship while having kids from past relationships.
“When you have a new relationship, there are divorces, there are kids involved,” Holmes said in the January 9 episode of their podcast. “You’re always trying to find the right balance between your kids and your partner and bringing everybody together.”
The former anchorman also commented on his partner’s connection with his daughter, Sabine, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig.
“You’ve been great, and it’s been one of the great, great, great joys over the past several months — six months-plus — is how Sabine’s really taking it,” Holmes noted, adding that Sabine is often “disappointed” to come home from school when Robach is not around.
Holmes also shares a daughter, Brianna, and a son, Jaiden, with ex Amy Ferson. Meanwhile, Robach shares daughters Ava, 21, and Annalise, 17, with her first ex-husband Tim McIntosh.
