Flavor Flav is in his Swiftie era — and he’s going all out.
The legendary rapper attended Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in Detroit Friday and had the time of his life, posting updates throughout the show.
While at the show at Ford Field, the 64-year-old MC was gifted handmade friendship bracelets from Swifties in the crowd.
Exchanging and gifting friendship bracelets has become a fun new tradition for the Swift tour thanks to a lyric in her song “You’re On Your Own Kid”: “So make the friendship bracelets/ Take the moment and taste it.”
Flavor Flav received a full wrist of bracelets and was “makin new friends” at the concert, prompting him to ask fans of Swift, 33, to help him make custom bracelets before the next Eras tour show he goes to.
“Swifties,,, I wanna hire one of y’all to make me some custom Flavor Flav bracelets to trade for the next Eras Tour stop ya boy hits up,,,, Who can help,??” he tweeted alongside a picture of all his new bracelets.
He continued, “Ya boy wants hundreds of bracelets,,, maybe thousands,,, so maybe we hire several of y’all,,, looking for: •ITS•A•CLOCK• + •FLAVOR•FLAV In Navy with Silver.”
Swifties quickly responded with offers to help, showing Flav their talents with pictures of bracelets they’ve already made, and he was extremely impressed.
“WOWWWWWW!!! These just keep getting better,!!!” he responded to one fan who posted a video of a Flavor Flav bracelet they made for him.
Flav was so impressed with the response, he’s hiring hundreds of fans to help him out.
“Ya boy did NOT expect this big of a response,!!! WOWWW,” he tweeted. “Tryna get to as many of y’all as I can,,, DM’d maybe 200 of y’all so far.”
Earlier this year, Flav admitted that he used to spend nearly $3,000 on crack cocaine every day — so it appears he’s found a new way to spend his cash.
