Images and Words is one of the most acclaimed metal albums of all time. It’s the band’s first LP to feature singer James LaBrie, while also containing their biggest mainstream hit, “Pull Me Under.”

Awake contains the singles “Lie” and “The Silent Man,” while Falling into Infinity is the band’s only studio LP to feature keyboardist Derek Sherinian. Lastly, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory is considered one of the greatest prog-metal concept records, and is the band’s first album to feature longtime keyboardist Jordan Rudess.

Enter below for a chance to win the 7-LP clear vinyl collection of Dream Theater’s four 1990s albums. You can also visit your local indie record store to check these LPs, as well as other “Start Your Ear Off Right” releases from Fleetwood Mac, Ramones, ZZ Top, and more.

The vinyl releases come at a very busy time for Dream Theater, who’ve welcomed back original drummer Mike Portnoy after a 13-year absence. The band is set to release a new LP, Parasomnia, on February 7th — one of our most anticipated metal and hard rock albums of 2025. That same day, Dream Theater will embark on the North American leg of their 40th anniversary tour, which kicks off in Philadelphia and runs through a March 22nd show in New York City (pick up tickets here).
