Today, Thursday, March 20, beloved supergroup The Brothers have premiered their 2020 rendition of Muddy Waters’ original, turned Allman Brothers Band studio and live staple, the punchy, blues-laden “Trouble No More.” The clip arrives ahead of the ensemble’s return to Madison Square Garden on April 15 and 16, 2025.

The video, which runs just under four minutes, pulses the symbiotic relationship between multi-generational torchbearers of the Southern rock troubadours, including the sole surviving member, Jaimoe, Second Coming’s Reese Wynans, as well as latter-day participants, late-80s arrival, Warren Haynes and 90s ambassadors of the music, Oteil Burbridge and Derek Trucks.

Also joining the fiery rendition of “Trouble No More” are percussionists Marc Quiñones and Widespread Panic’s Duane Trucks. The track arrived in the Allman-orbit in 1969, on the band’s first self-titled studio record and subsequent 1971 live recording of the cover [captured at The Fillmore] and included on Eat a Peach

The 2020 video captures what’s to come during The Brother’s return to Madison Square Garden on April 15 and 16, 2025. The forthcoming concert will feature the amalgamated talents of the main lineup: Jaimoe, Haynes, Trucks, Burbridge, and Quiñones, with Joe Russo, Wynanas, Isaac Eady and special guest Leavell.

Ahead of next month’s event, Jaimoe shared his thoughts on the 50th-anniversary rendition of  The Brother’s take on “Trouble No More,” telling Relix, “Man this tune was one of the best from the 2020 show, you can really FEEL The Brothers here on ‘Trouble No More.’ The shows in April watch out, you better be ready for us to do it all over again!!”

Tickets remain on sale and available for The Brothers concerts on April 15 and 16 at New York’s Madison Square Garden. To purchase and learn more, visit www.thebrothersmsg.com
