A STREET Fighter star has barely aged a day since starring alongside Kylie Minogue in the 90s cult classic film.
Ming-Na Wen, 61, played news reporter Chun-Li Zang in the 1994 adaptation of the popular videogame.
In the flick, Raul Julia starred in the role as villainous drug lord General M. Bison, who is hellbent on creating an army of genetically modified super soldiers to do his bidding.
One plot thread sees Chun-Li, whose parents were were murdered by Bison two decades earlier, try and exact her revenge.
Minogue played another strong female character in Lieutenant Cammy White – the formidable assistant of allied forces leader Colonel William F. Guile [Jean-Claude Van Damme].
Guile is determined to bring Bison to justice for numerous crimes and refuses to bow down to demands for a $20billion ransom in return for the release of 63 Allied Nations hostages captured during a battle in the fictional South East Asian nation of Shadaloo.
The action-packed movie was Addams Family star Julia’s final role before his death from a stroke aged 54.
Following her role in Street Fighter, Ming-Na landed a regular part on hit drama ER, playing Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen between 1995 and 2004.
She also voiced Mulan in Disney popular 1998 animated movie of the same name.
More recently she has become a familiar face in the Marvel universe as Melinda May/The Cavalry in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
She also played a part in another huge franchise after Disney picked up the rights to the Star Wars universe.
Ming-Na played Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and The Book of Boba Fett.
The actress, who was honoured as a Disney Legend in 2019, regularly posts on Instagram to her 1.1million followers, sharing insights into her family life.
She recently posted her family’s Christmas card featuring her two children, Michaela and Cooper, and husband, Eric.
Ming-Na also recently revealed herself to be a huge Sting and Billy Joel fan when she watched the legends perform in the States.
She wrote: “Be still my beating heart.
“@billyjoel and @theofficialsting rocked out last night at @allegiantstadium in #Vegas!
“I hope to be able to do this much partying in my 70s!! Thanks for the music and inspiration, guys!”
She even playfully referred to herself as “Sting-Na”.
Prior to that she watch Pink perform and called her a “badass” and “megastar”.
