Paris-based band SCHØØL has released their debut single ‘N.S.M.L.Y.D’ (Nothing Satisfies Me Like You Do).
‘N.S.M.L.Y.D’ is a pop track that delves into the intense admiration one feels for their idol. The standout feature of this song is its synth riff, designed to be as catchy as an old phone ringtone, ensuring it stays in your head long after the music stops.
Formed in the fall of 2023, SCHØØL brings together the talents of Francis Mallari (Rendez-Vous) on vocals, Erica Ashleson (Special Friend, Dog Park) on bass, Jack Moase (Liquid Face) on guitar, and Alex Battez (Marble Arch) on drums. The band members united to form the group they dreamed of as teenagers, drawing inspiration from 90s shoegaze bands like Swirlies and Drop Nineteens.
With their debut single set to release and an album ready to follow later this year, SCHØØL is poised to make a significant impact on the music scene.
