One Step Closer have shared the second cut from their forthcoming album, ‘All You Embrace’.
The new single, ‘Giant’s Despair’, follows the release of the band’s previous single ‘Leap Years’.
With an emotive, passionate energy and incorporating elements of shoegaze, it arrives with a video that sees the band strolling through town – have a watch and a listen below.
‘All You Embrace’ is set to arrive May 17 via Run For Cover Records, and follows 2021’s ‘This Place You Know’.
Speaking about the album, which is said to explore the sonic overlaps of hardcore, emo, ’90s alternative, and more, vocalist Ryan Savitski has shared:
“I wanted to showcase One Step Closer in its fullest state.
“Every single part of the band, I wanted it to be there. I wanted us to be 100% ourselves and be as authentic to our band as we could possibly be.”
The album’s latest single arrives halfway through One Step Closer’s North American co-headline tour with Koyo and Anxious, which comes before they head to the UK for Slam Dunk Festival in May.
