Fan fears over ‘dynamic pricing’
There are already concerns among fans worldwide that the controversial dynamic pricing – used to sell tickets for the UK and Ireland shows – is to be used in the forthcoming shows in the US and beyond.
Dynamic pricing is where the price of the ticket fluctuates according to demand; in theory it is designed to keep out ticket touts. In practice, however, fans end up paying three times the amount of the original ticket price.
It’s worth noting that dynamic pricing is often used for rock concerts in the US – Bruce Springsteen used it to sell tickets for a recent American tour.

Oasis were never big in America … why?
That’s a tricky question to answer – it all depends on who you ask but there’s no doubt their early “escapades” scuppered their chances of mega success. During an early US tour in the mid-90s, Noel walked out after falling out with Liam – though he did get a song out of it – Half the World Away (after meeting a girl on a plane).
On a subsequent US tour, Liam refused to leave London to join the band claiming he didn’t have “anywhere to live”.
American promoters are notoriously unforgiving when they have to cancel shows … The inside story at present is Oasis contracts are water-tight. We shall see …

US fans have begged the brothers to go stateside, despite Oasis never enjoying the same success there as they did in their homeland.
