Metallica — Load Remastered Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set

Almost 30 years after its release, Metallica’s sixth studio album has been remastered and further enhanced by previously unreleased studio recordings and live tracks. This newly packaged edition of Load comprises a total of 301 tracks, 245 of which have never been published before. Hefty though it may be, this release is for die-hard fans of the group who stuck around even through some of the criticisms the record received upon its release in 1996.

Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts — Talkin to the Trees

Queens of the Stone Age — Alive in the Catacombs EP

To go along with their new concert film Alive in the Catacombs, Queens of the Stone Age have unveiled a companion EP. The five-song collection was recorded live in the ossuary beneath Paris without any overdubs or edits. It sees the band’s lineup of Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore in a stripped-down arrangements accompanied by a three-piece string section, with chains and chopsticks used as makeshift percussion instruments.
