The Eagles have flown Southwest for the winter.
On Jan. 19-20, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group will swoop into Phoenix, AZ’s Footprint Center for two huge back-to-back concerts with special guest Steely Dan.
This pair of shows may be their last in the Valley of the Sun; Don Henley, Joe Walsh and co. are currently midway through their ongoing farewell ‘Long Goodbye Tour’ that they have teased will come to a close in 2025.
“Our long run has lasted far longer than any of us ever dreamed,” the band shared in a statement. “But, everything has its time, and the time has come for us to close the circle.”
And if you want to sing along to “Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” “New Kid In Town” and “One Of These Nights” one more time, it isn’t too late to grab last-minute seats.
The prices might not give you a “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” though.
At the time of publication, tickets start at $230 before fees on Vivid Seats for the Phoenix shows.
Floor level seats can be found for $400 before fees.
While that may sound expensive, when you factor in this that the ’70s hitmakers may never perform in Arizona again, the juice just might be worth the squeeze.

The Eagles concert review
According to Variety, The Eagles’ live show “easily competes with the likes of Taylor Swift and Beyoncé for tour of the year.”

The Eagles band members
When you’ve been living life in the fast lane since 1971 (!), a bit of shuffling when it comes to your group’s lineup is to be expected.
Still, to this day, 76-year-old, founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to tour with the group.
On the road, he’ll be joined by 76-year-old Joe Walsh (also of the James Gang), 76-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist, played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner 66-year-old Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 31-year-old son Deacon.
Over the course of their illustrious career, the band has racked up six Grammy awards, performed over 1000 concerts and sold 150 million-plus albums.
