DEMI Moore’s daughters couldn’t be prouder of their mum after she scooped her first Golden Globe at the age of 62.
Last night the legendary actress took home the Best Actress in a Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy award for The Substance.
Demi – who is best known for films like Ghost and GI Jane – beat off the the likes of Amy Adams (Nightbitch), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) and Zendaya (Challengers) to win the top award.
After it was revealed she had scooped her first Golden Globe, her daughters couldn’t help but celebrate her big win.
In a clip shared on social media, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, can be seen screaming and jumping up and down as it is revealed their mum has won the gong.
Joined by other members of their family, the women couldn’t contain their excitement and joy for their much-loved mother.
Taking to the stage to accept her Golden Globe, Demi, who started her film career in the 80s, said: “I’m just in shock right now.
“I’ve been doing this for a long time, over 45 years now, and this is the first time I’ve won anything as an actor.
“I’m so humbled and so grateful.”
“One thing that I think this movie is imparting is in those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or successful enough or basically just not enough,” she continued.
“I had a woman say to me, just, ‘No, you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick.’
“And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me.
“And for the gift of doing something I love and being reminded that I do belong. Thank you so much.”
Demi is now leading the race to Oscars success after the awards season kicked off in Hollywood last night.
The Golden Globe Awards 2025 delivered a series of shock wins – as Emilia Pérez took home four awards and Wicked was snubbed.
Another major surprise of the night was Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet and Pamela Anderson losing to Fernanda Torres.
The 59-year-old Brazilian won Best Actress – Drama for I’m Still Here.
After pulling off an upset, she told the star-studded crowd: “I didn’t prepare anything because I was glad already [to be nominated].”
Meanwhile Baby Reindeer and Shōgun won the big TV prizes and epic period drama film The Brutalist won three gongs – but Conclave and Anora went home empty handed.
