Pale Waves have unveiled details of a brand-new album, with ‘Smitten’ set to arrive September 20 via Dirty Hit.
The band’s fourth studio album, ‘Smitten’ will mark the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Unwanted’.
An ’80s influenced goth-pop track, the first taster of the band’s new era comes in the form of ‘Perfume’.
Released alongside a quirky video that features the band in a garden labyrinth, check it out below.
Speaking on the upcoming release of ‘Smitten’, vocalist Heather Baron-Gracie has shared:
“I found myself writing about not just a certain time period but my whole life, from years ago.
“When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone, and then they can become a total stranger. So, I feel like ‘Smitten’ really summarized perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.”
