GWEN Stefani has shared a new video that has fans obsessed with her ageless appearance.
On Thursday, Gwen, 54, shared a new video on her Instagram to promote her upcoming studio album.
The clip was part three of Creating Purple Irises, a series of social media videos that highlight the process of making the album.
She described the genre of the album as “yacht rock” which she said was to have a band play similar music to the 70s and early 80s albums she grew up on.
She said, “That’s how I made my Christmas record, and it has a sound because of that.”
While talking to the camera, the No Doubt singer wore a red plaid shirt with a black shirt underneath and multiple layered necklaces.
She wore glam makeup with a neutral color lip as her blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders.
Gwen got multiple Nashville musicians to play on the album, and her husband Blake Shelton was one of them.
The 47-year-old joined her on the album to sing the song Purple Irises, the album’s title song.
The clip ended with a raw and unedited sound clip of the song where the happy couple was singing together.
In the comments, fans gawked at Gwen’s appearance and how youthful she looked.
One said, “Gwen you are aging backwards !!! Skin is glowing.”
“Gwen, my Idol, you are an icon of beauty and talent. Love you,” added another.
A third wrote, “Gwen God has blessed you with beauty.”
“You are the absolute most beautiful. Greetings from Italy,” commented a fan.
A fifth said, “Beautiful woman inside and out.”
MORE ABOUT THE SONG
In a past clip showing the making of the album, Gwen shared the meaning behind the title song that was released last month.
She revealed that she was on her way to a studio session when the idea for the song came to her.
Purple Irises is a love song about her and Blake’s relationship, but also about her insecurities.
She wrote the idea on her phone before pulling into the studio driveway, heading inside, and writing the song that day.
The singer said her insecurities were born out of her age and the thought of someone else coming in between her and Blake.
She said, “I’m getting older, I don’t feel pretty.”
She went on to ask, “If I don’t feel pretty, how could someone else think I’m pretty still?”
She used the song as a way to discover how insecure she could feel.
