You’ve guessed it, it’s Ally Sheedy.
Stepping out in New York City at the start of April, Ally, whose real name is Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, was seen after a shopping trip before getting into a taxi.
With a large black shoulder bag on her shoulder, Ally could be seen dashing around before heading home.
She wore her brunette locks down and framing her face, and she seemingly ditched makeup for the occasion, too.
ALLY’S STARRING ROLES
In 1985 smash hit The Breakfast Club, Ally played quirky character Allison Reynolds, who was the misunderstood “weird” girl.
In Short Circuit, which came out in the same year, she portrayed the character of Judy, a scientist who is involved with the creation of a robot.
Also in the same year, she starred in Twice in a Lifetime and played the role of Gene Hackman‘s adoring daughter.
Ally, who will turn 63 in June, has had a colorful love life.
She dated Richie Sambora, Bon Jovi’s guitarist, for less than a year in the 1980s.
Ally then told the Los Angeles Times that the relationship led her to abuse drugs, a claim Richie denied.
In April 1992, the starlet married actor David Lansbury, the nephew of actress Angela Lansbury and son of Edgar Lansbury.
PROUD MOM TO SON BECKETT
The pair welcomed a child, Beckett.
In 2008, Ally announced that she and David had filed for divorce.
Ally and David’s son Beckett is transgender, with the famous actress speaking out about his transition in 2022.
Speaking to People, Ally said: “I want him to be able to do what he wants to do with his life and have the freedom to make his own choices and surround himself with a loving, supportive community.
“So far, he’s been able to do that.”
As a parent, she said that she had “learned a lot”.
She went on: “Beck doesn’t hide anything. And I feel very comfortable talking to anyone whose kid is just beginning the process of transition.
“Parents need to educate themselves.”
