On August 27 1994, Delores Martes was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at her boyfriend’s property in the Ladera Heights, California.
Whilst her death was originally declared accidental, her boyfriend Donald Bohana was later charged with murder.
He was also found guilty of second-degree murder in 1998 and received 15 years in prison.
After serving 24 years, he was granted parole in December 2022.
The Los Angeles businessman had dated Delores Martes for eight weeks before her death.
