Your favorite blue-eyed soul Rock and Roll Hall of Famers can’t get enough of the road.
The Doobie Brothers — currently midway through their ‘The 2024 Tour’ with special guests Steve Winwood and Robert Cray — just announced they’re adding four concerts to their summer and fall run.
Michael McDonald and co. will now headline back-to-back shows at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on Monday, Sept. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 1.
After that, the “Takin’ It To The Street” classic rockers swoop into Atlantic City’s Borgata Event Center on Friday, Oct. 4 and Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Those aren’t The Doobie Brothers’ only NY/NJ gigs this year, though.
They’re also slated to headline previously announced concerts at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, Aug. 13, Syracuse, NY’s Oncenter on Friday, Sept. 27 and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
“We’ll be playing all the iconic songs that we know you want to hear, as well a few new tunes, and deep cuts that will make this a show to remember,” guitarist Pat Simmons told USA Today when the tour was announced back in January. “We…can hardly wait to rock out Doobie style!”
If this sounds like the show for you, tickets are available for all 2024 Doobie Brothers concerts as of today.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the four new Northeast shows is Friday, Aug. 16.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Doobie Brothers set list
When you have as many beloved hits as The Doobie Brothers — personally, we can’t get enough of the upbeat 1974 classic “Black Water” — it’s hard to construct a set list.
However, it looks like the band has settled on one they like quite a bit that pays homage to their impressive catalog.
Take a look below to see what the band played at most shows on their 2022 tour.
01.) “Nobody”
02.) “Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While)” (Kim Weston cover)
03.) “Here to Love You”
04.) “Dependin’ on You”
05.) “Rockin’ Down the Highway”
06.) “You Belong to Me”
07.) “Easy”
08.) “South City Midnight Lady”
09.) “Clear as the Driven Snow”
10.) “It Keeps You Runnin’”
11.) “Another Park, Another Sunday”
12.) “Eyes of Silver”
13.) “Better Days”
14.) “Don’t Ya Mess With Me”
15.) “Real Love”
16.) “World Gone Crazy”
17.) “Minute by Minute”
18.) “Without You”
19.) “Jesus Is Just Alright” (The Art Reynolds Singers cover)
20.) “What a Fool Believes” (Kenny Loggins cover)
21.) “Long Train Runnin’”
22.) “China Grove”
Encore:
23.) “Black Water”

Doobie Brothers band members
The San Jose-based band today consists of lead singer Michael McDonald and guitarists Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons and John McFee.
That’s not the whole band, though.
These days, the core quartet are joined by touring musicians John Cowan (bass, vocals), Marc Russo (saxophones), Ed Toth (drums), and Marc Quiñones (percussion).
Doobie Brothers new music
In 2023, Michael McDonald and co. collaborated with Mick Fleetwood and Jake Shimabukuro on the single “Lahaina,” a contemplative ode to the Hawaiian island.
Before that, the band delivered the rockin’ 12-track “Liberté” in October 2021.
For our money, the pulsing “Cannonball” is the standout song here; it doesn’t quite fit in with the Doobies’ greatest hits of yesteryear but introduces a new modern folk sound more in line with The Lumineers and Mumford and Sons.
The soaring “Shine Your Light” and throwbacks “Easy” and “Just Can’t Do This Alone” will surely have audiences waving their lighters high in the air at live shows, too.
Finally, “Amen Old Friend,” the album’s last song, likely won’t leave a single eye dry at concerts.
If you want to hear the exciting, sonically diverse record for yourself, you can find “Liberté” here.
Doobie Brothers special guests
At all concerts, the Doobie Brothers will welcome either Winwood or Cray to get things started.
To make sure you’re up to date on their work, we’ve listed each artist’s most streamed song on Spotify below.
Steve Winwood: “Higher Love”
Robert Cray: “Right Next Door (Because Of Me)”
