Is AGATHA ALL ALONG’S Shocking Death Actually Real?

Agatha's coven on the Witches' Road.

The first two episodes of Agatha All Along saw the return of many of the inhabitants of Westview from WandaVision. Among those familiar faces was That ’70s Show’s Debra Jo Rupp, who played Sharon Davis, a.k.a. “Mrs. Hart” in Wanda’s fantasy world. When Agatha needed a fifth member of her coven in episode two, she quickly grabbed Mrs. Davis from next door and invited her along. She hoped her green thumb from working in the garden would qualify her as enough of a Green Witch, and allow them access to the Witches’ Road. And hey, it worked! But things did quickly go awry because it seems that Mrs. Hart is dead on Agatha All Along. Let’s get into what happened.

Sadly, Mrs. Davis’ time on the Witches’ Road was short-lived. As a non-magical human, she was a little ill- prepared for the trials of the Witches’ Road. Things started off badly for her in the beginning of the third episode, when she wandered off the road. Almost right away, she nearly drowned in some black tar. But the rest of the coven saves her, even though they constantly refer to her as “Mrs. Hart,” her fake Wanda-given name, and not as Sharon Davis. When a mysterious beach house appears before the coven, she enters with them.

Inside the house, which looks like an upper middle-class suburban home from any TV series, the coven faces their first trial—the trial of potions. They all drink from a bottle of wine, which turns out to be poisoned. The first to drink is poor Sharon, whose face swells to ridiculous proportions. She ends up looking like a plastic surgery nightmare from the show Botched. The rest of the coven must create an antidote in an allotted time, which they barely do. But Sharon passes out, and they give her the potion with only seconds to spare.

The coven all escape the house, which takes them down a slide back to the Witches’ Road. One by one we see them come out the other end of the slide, except for poor Sharon. After everyone gathers themselves, they notice that Sharon is lying dead on the ground. But here’s the thing; we saw her body move after she took the antidote, suggesting it worked. Secondly, we never saw her body come down the slide. We saw the rest of the coven go down, but not her. Her dead body was suddenly just there. Seems like it’s possible the Witches’ Road might be messing with the coven here.

Even if Sharon Davis really is dead, we have a feeling that we have not seen the last of the former Mrs. Hart. It’s possible that if she died on the Witches’ Road, Sharon is now forever part of this place. And maybe she will appear to the coven as its avatar in future trials. We just think you don’t make it a point to bring back Debra Jo Rupp just to remove her so quickly. Dead or not, we suspect we have not heard the last of Sharon Davis a.k.a. Mrs. Hart on Agatha All Along. But we’re pretty sure she’ll regret ever having said yes to Agatha’s party invitation.
