Chubby and the Gang have shared their new single and video, ‘The Bonnie Banks’.
Led by Charlie Manning, Chubby and the Gang kicked things off in 2019, blending hardcore punk and 70s-inspired rock n’ roll.
And now they have the next chapter in their journey, with their latest release out now.
‘The Bonnie Banks’ is said to be an ode to Charlie’s London hometown, and to the mindset that everything is ultimately going to be okay in the end.
It also marks Chubby and the Gang’s first release under their new label Flatspot Records, where they can count hardcore favourites Scowl and Speed as their new labelmates.
Have a listen to ‘The Bonnie Banks’ via the Nick Suchak-directed video below, which was produced by Dan Matthews.
Chubby and the Gang are set to perform on June 15 at Flatspot World in London alongside Scowl, Jivebomb, and Stiff Meds – tickets are available here.
It will be the latest episode in their thrilling spate of live performances that has so far included an extensive 65-date tour alongside The New York Hounds.
