Biff Wiff, the fan favorite character actor for his comedic performances in I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson and the Oscar-winning film Everything Everywhere All At Once, has passed away.

“It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our beloved client and actor, Biff Wiff,” his talent agency Entertainment Lab wrote on Instagram. “Biff was an amazing person inside and out, and his loving energy could be felt by all. We are sending our heartfelt sympathies to his family & loved ones at this time. @biffwiff”
The post featured photos of Wiff alongside co-stars such as Jake Johnson, his collaborator on the 2023 film Self Reliance. Robinson re-shared the post with broken heart emojis on his Instagram Story.
He also shared a clip from the “Shirt Brothers” sketch, featured in season three of I Think You Should Leave. In the scene, Wiff’s character asks Robinson to promise “a million times that you will never do another rule.”

As the third season of I Think You Should Leave approached its premiere, friends of Wiff revealed that the actor had been hospitalized due to a recurring battle with cancer. To support his treatment, they launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds.
“I’m not sure how to respond,” Wiff was quoted as saying on the page. “I’m back in the hospital again dealing with side effects of the cancer I was diagnosed with late last year. I have no idea when or if I will recover.
Biff Wiff’s Acting Credits Date Back to the 1980s
In addition to his work on the absurdist sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave, Wiff built an impressive resume with appearances in numerous TV shows. His credits span iconic classics like Moonlighting, L.A. Law and Roseanne, per his IMDb. He also appeared in Night Court, both the original 1980s series and its recent reboot.
He’s also appeared in fan-favorites such as Roswell, Reba, True Jackson VP, iCarly, The Mentalist, Pretty Little Liars, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Westworld, Fresh Off the Boat, 9-1-1, PEN15, and Jury Duty. Additionally, Wiff played himself in FXX’s Dave.
