Who is Gary Owen’s fiance Brianna Johnson?

According to a now-deleted social media post by his ex-wife Kenya Duke, Brianna Johnson is allegedly the woman who Gary cheated on her with while they were still married.

According to BET, Kenya addressed Brianna in a 2021 social media post: “He doesn’t financially support his wife. Although he has sent me zero money (from a company I help build) I am still paying his bills.

“You can have him, but you don’t have the money. NOPE!!! Lawyer up, you have now become a big part of this divorce.”

Brianna is reportedly a registered nurse at Memorial Hermann Health.

She prefers to keep her personal information out of the public spotlight, so little else is currently known about her.

The couple had a very public and drawn-out divorce that was finalized in 2021.

In March 2023, the mom of three discussed their break-up with Essence, saying the divorce took around a year and a half to finalize.

“He was my best friend,” Kenya said.

“I really thought we were going to do this life thing together, you know?”

“That’s why I was so shocked with how the divorce went down,” she continued.

“Even when I realized it was over, I thought we’d be able to sit across from each other and talk out how we were going to do this, together.”

“Although our children are college-aged, they’d still come home and would need support,” Kenya concluded.

How many children does Gary Owen have?

Throughout their marriage, Kenya and Gary welcomed two children — a son named Austin and a daughter called Kennedy.

Kenya has a child from a previous marriage, Emilio, to whom Owen was a stepfather.

In a 2016 Instagram post, Owen wished Emilio a happy birthday and wrote in the caption: “When I married your mom you were a package deal.”

Emilio, Austin and Kennedy are all adults.

Owen and Brianna welcomed twin sons Royal and Rome in July 2023, meaning Gary now has five kids in total.

On May 8, 2024, Gary joined host Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast.

During the interview, the standup comic confirmed he is the proud parent of twins, both about 10 months old.

“One’s white, one’s Black,” he shared.

“One’s got blue eyes… the other one [has] brown eyes.”

“The twins are awesome. They’re in that idolizing dad phase,” Gary joked.

During the podcast interview, Gary opened up about his relationship with his eldest kids.

“I didn’t do it wrong the first time. I was very conscious about how I spoke to them, how we disciplined them, I never put them down,” Gary shared.

“I was the fun dad.”

But he admitted that Austin and Kennedy do not have a relationship with the twin babies.

“It sucks too because my kids don’t know them. They don’t have a relationship with them,” he admitted.

“I don’t want them to meet when they’re four or five.”

Gary mentioned he has not seen his grown children since the separation form their mother.

“I’ll take the blame,” he commented.

“I didn’t ensure that my relationship with them was so strong that no matter what anybody said to them they can be like, ‘Nah, my dad is good.’

“I just don’t know where it got so bad that I’m just the worst human being on the planet.”

He continued: “At this point, I don’t know how to reconcile the relationship.

“I’m just letting them know that I love them, I’m proud of them, and whenever they call, I’m there.”

But Kenya apparently disagrees with that assessment and posted her response on Instagram.

“It has been 3 years,” she wrote, addressing Gary directly. “I am always kind and cool with you. I purposely, never make it awkward. I never bother you.

“I have given you my suggestions on the situation but you don’t respect their boundaries. Which is why you discussed this again on social media.

“I don’t know what else to do to help you. Always wishing you well.”
