NICHOLAS Galitzine, star of the new film The Idea of You, has responded to fans saying they pictured another celebrity in the role.
The 29-year-old actor stars alongside Anne Hathaway, 41, in the newly-released Amazon Prime romance.

The film is adapted from Robinne Lee’s 2017 novel of the same name.
Nicholas plays Hayes, a famous 24-year-old singer who catches the attention of a 40-year-old single mother, played by Anne.
While attending the movie’s premiere, the star opened up about the comparison he has gotten to singer Harry Styles, 30 – especially following Harry’s previous relationship with 40-year-old Olivia Wilde.
“A lot of the fans of the book imagined Harry Styles when they read the book, so did you draw any inspo from Harry?” Nicholas was asked by Access Hollywood on the red carpet.

“I think the script was so wonderful, and really, there wasn’t any need for any other sort of outside references,” the actor explained.
“It seems to all be there in the script.”
He then mentioned working with director Michael Showalter, saying he “delegated all the power” to the cast and allowed them to “texturize” it.
“It really just kind of came very organically to me,” Nicholas added.

LUSTING OVER LOVERS
The actor, who also stars in the Starz series Mary & George, recently attended the film’s New York City premiere in a stylish gray suit.
His co-star, Anne, stunned in a form-fitting red dress with cutouts and corset piping around the bust and down the bodice.
The sweetheart neckline and high slit allowed Anne to show off her slim figure as fans thought she looked youthful as ever.
Fans have been lusting over both stars in their fiery new film, with some recently commenting on one of Nicholas’ dancing scenes.
A clip from The Idea of You was recently shared on X, which showed the actor shimmying down the wall in a goofy manner while rubbing his hands down his body.
After one fan wrote that the scene had been improvised, others gave their opinions on the funny moment.

“It’s his Magic Mike audition, leave him alone,” one person replied.
“The. Thighs,” a second noted, while another said, “I just drooled.”
AUDITION PROCESS
Anne recently detailed her decision to cast Nicholas as her onscreen love interest.
The Princess Diaries star said the audition process for the film was very fun and, additionally, much different from the ones she remembered having from the early 2000s.
“We asked each of the actors coming in to choose a song that they felt their character would love, that they would put on to get my character to dance, and then we’d do a short little improv,” she detailed to V Magazine.

“I was sitting in a chair like we had come in from dinner or a walk or something, we pressed play, and we just started dancing together.”
Nicholas stood out with his song choice from The Alabama Shakes, which the actress says made her smile.
“It was just easy. I heard Brittany’s voice and I just started smiling,” Anne said, adding, “And he saw me smile, so he relaxed, and we just started dancing. Nobody was showing off.”
Anne felt that “nobody was trying to get the gig” during the audition and said they were all just “in a space dancing.”
“I looked over and Michael Showalter, our director, was beaming. Spark!” she said.
