SAWEETIE showed off her curves and thin waist in True Religion jeans for the brand’s new campaign, bringing back the iconic 2000s trend.
The My Type singer made her debut as the face of True Religion’s Spring 2024 campaign, Go There, during New York Fashion Week.
Saweetie, 30, made a special appearance at the fashion brand’s Spring Preview Launch event on February 7 at The Mulberry Bar.
She arrived in style wearing a matching denim top and bottom.
Her top – the Jimmy Saddle Stitch Western Halter (retailed for $89) – and her bottom – the Joey Low Rise Saddle Stitch Flare Jean (retailed at $169) – turned heads as she brought back the 2000s trend.
She also looked stunning and drew lots of attention while revealing her thin waist and curves in the flattering outfit.
The next day, the spring campaign dropped, releasing photos of the rapper in more True Religion looks.
The campaign pics show Saweetie in a variety of current trends including denim halters, graphic tees, patchwork, printed denim dresses, and baggy jeans.
The brand ambassador said in a press release: “True Religion has always been that girl.
“This new line stays authentic to the True Religion I grew up wearing but also has some bold and unexpected pieces.”
Pieces from the collection range from $39 to $169.
BO$$ CHICK
The singer, born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, took to her Instagram to promote the campaign.
“Ask me about this campaign in my next interview.
“Exciteddd to be the new face of @truereligion. cute lil tops & low rise baddies will be in full effect. #GOTHERE,” she captioned the commercial.
Wearing her matching denim halter top and denim bottoms, the rapper is seen sitting on a chair as different backgrounds flash behind her.
Her hit BO$$ CHICK is playing in the background as she pretends to paint with her long embellished nails before signing an autograph.
Another background shows a bunch of cameramen flashing their cameras to get pics of her.
She ends up in front of a True Religion sign where she ends up taking a selfie before winking to the camera.
