Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga performed at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, February 2nd, pulling out a rendition of The Mamas & the Papas’ classic “California Dreamin’” in a segment honoring the city of Los Angeles.

The tribute to LA was a late addition to the ceremony’s program, and came about as the broadcast reorganized itself as a fundraiser for wildfire relief in response to the devastating fires that hit the city last month.

Beyond their performance, Gaga and Mars were both up for awards on Sunday night — the duo was nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with their 2024 single, “Die with a Smile.”

Additionally, Gaga debuted a music video for the brand new single “Abracadabra” during a commercial break in the evening, marking the third track to arrive from her upcoming album, Mayhem. Earlier in the week, she unveiled another new song at the FireAid benefit concert.

Up next, Gaga will headline Coachella 2025 (get tickets here). Mars, meanwhile, will continue performing his residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas, with dates booked through June 2025 (get tickets here).
